What you’ll need:
Non-abrasive sponge
Bosch Stainless Steel Cleaner (if applicable)
Step 1: Prepare the cooktop
Before starting, make sure the cooktop has cooled completely.
Remove the grates and burner caps from the cooktop and set them aside.
Step 2: Clean the grates and burner caps
Wash the grates and burner caps in the sink using mild, soapy water and a soft sponge. Do not soak the grates, as prolonged soaking can damage the finish.
Use the Bosch Degreaser with a soft cloth to remove any grease buildup.
Rinse them thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
Step 3: Clean the burner heads
For the burner heads, use a soft brush or sponge to gently clean away any food debris or grease buildup. Ensure the small gas openings are clear to maintain proper gas flow.
For stubborn stains, the Bosch Degreaser works effectively
Let the burner heads dry completely before putting the burner caps back on.
Step 4: Wipe down the cooktop surface
For the cooktop surface, use a mild cleaner designed for stainless steel. We recommend using the Bosch Stainless Steel Cleaner to clean and polish without scratching. Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove any spills or stains. Avoid abrasive tools.
Buff with a dry cloth for a polished shine.
Step 5: Reassemble the cooktop
Once everything is dry, place the burner caps and grates back in their positions, ensuring all parts are secure.
