An induction hob rapidly heats up and is an energy efficient choice. The cooking surface stays cool and is especially easy to clean. Below an elegant surface, a magnetic field directly heats a compatible pot or pan instead of heating up the hob surface. Our induction hobs come in a wide variety of dimensions, from 30 to 90 cm in width, and with a range of user-friendly controls. The rectangular cooking zones can be combined with a tap to accommodate large cooking vessels of nearly all sizes and shapes. Replacing an electric hob? Electric ceramic: classic convenience.
With a glass ceramic surface, a radiant hob, often called an electric or a ceramic hob, makes cooking easy and comfortable. Integrated touch controls or knobs with the oven controls makes this type of hob easy to use. The round burners on some models are enlargeable to accommodate bigger pots or pans. Compatible with all types of pots and pans.
Venting: two appliances in one.
Practical and convenient, a venting hob is an induction or ceramic cooktop and a downdraft hood fan in one appliance. While you cook quickly and efficiently on the hob, the ventilation module extracts steam and odours directly at the source. Perfect for those who don't want to compromise in the kitchen: all the advantage of a hob, plus a discreet, powerful and effective hood fan.

Induction: The most energy-efficient choice delivers instant heat and is easy to clean. It only works with magnetic cookware, such as a stainless steel pot or pan.
Electric ceramic: Easy to use and compatible with all kinds of pots and pans, this electric hob is a classic choice. The surface remains hot to the touch after switching off the appliance.
Venting: An attractive two-in-one appliance with an induction or ceramic hob and a downdraft hood fan in one housing. No separate hood fan required! The appliance is deeper than non-venting models and requires additional installation space below the worktop.

Our venting hobs have a built-in extractor fan, meaning you don't need a separate hood fan – a great choice for those with an eye for aesthetics. The PerfectAir sensor in the extractor module monitors the air and automatically adapts the power level to suit the steam and odours. It uses the lowest extraction level to keep the noise level at a minimum. So you can focus your efforts on cooking.

For maximum cooking flexibility, our induction models with FlexInduction let you merge two or more rectangular cooking zones to suit a wide variety of cooking vessels – small and large, rectangular and round. For some cooking flexibility, CombiZone hobs contain two cooking zones that can be combined to create one larger one.
Smart control.
Use your hob the clever way.
Easily control your Wi-Fi-synced hood and hob with a touch thanks to Auto Control. For instance, you can programme your hood to turn on the fan and light when the hob is switched on, or to run for 20 minutes after the hob is switched off. This way you can concentrate on getting food on the table instead of fiddling with your hood.
Good to know: Pair a compatible hob with the Home Connect app to check on your smartphone from anywhere if the hob is switched off.
Operate with a touch.
Effortless and elegant touch controls.
Opt for a model with touch controls for an elegant look and intuitive operation. If you want to maximise your cooking experience, opt for an induction or venting model with DirectSelect Premium. On the large, 30 cm-wide touch panel, simply select the desired cooking zones, power level and features, such as Power Boost, with a touch. The screen disappears when you turn off the hob.
