Just because an appliance is smart doesn’t mean it should leave you scratching your head. Using Home Connect should make your everyday life simpler. And that goes for the pairing process, too. Just follow these three easy steps:
- Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the Home Connect app onto your smartphone
- Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code on the appliance or in the user manual
- Follow the in-app instructions

At Bosch, every engineering detail matters and we treat your personal details the same way. To secure your information, Home Connect only works with encrypted Wi-Fi networks. And we don’t stop there. Together with independent experts, we run regular system checks to stay ahead of cyberthreats.
None. As long as your phone, tablet or other smart device can connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi, you shouldn’t have a problem with Home Connect.
Easy. Stand next to your appliance with your smartphone or tablet connected to the network and check how many bars you see in the Wi-Fi icon. Alternatively, download an app to measure the signal strength.
Yes, that’s no problem.
You’re free to delete your Home Connect account at any time. Go to the Settings section in the app and you’ll be done in a couple of taps. Just remember that you won’t have access to your appliance’s smart functions afterwards.
